The first time I tried vinyasa yoga I fell in love with it so much that I went from being unable to touch my toes to a certified yoga teacher in under a year. *Yoga is not about touching your toes, it is about what you learn on the way down.* I couldn't agree with this quote more. Yoga is not just about flexibility. It’s about finding balance while using your breath. Flexibility, balance, and breath have become an essential part of my work as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where I've explored the benefits of merging counseling, coaching and yoga. Together they are physically, mentally, and spiritually life-changing. I love to share my passion and experience with others as I know first hand how a new perspective can help on the journey to self awareness, self acceptance, and becoming the best version of yourself possible! Other things I enjoy are traveling the world, the beach, puppies, coffee, chocolate, and so many other things (check out some others at "Things I Love").
